As part of the ‘Our Place’ initiative, Ventnor Town Council is interested in hearing from jobseekers in Ventnor with particular emphasis in how they are treated when they attend jobcentres.
We are particularly interested in the following:
- Have you been ‘sanctioned’ or threatened with sanctioning?
- Do you get help with form-filling and composing CVs?
- How often are you required to attend?
- How far do you have to travel and do they qualify for help with fares?
- How many jobs must you apply for weekly?
Any observations/remarks need not be confined to the above as all information may be equally relevant.
