All change on the Ventnor Town Council meeting front.
If you were planning on going to the VTC meeting (covering Town Council + Planning + Grants), due to take place on 15 March, you’re going to have to change your plans pretty sharpish – we hear that the meeting has been brought forward to tonight, 8th March.
Why this is happening without notice isn’t really clear – in fact, we hadn’t even been contacted by Tina Bailey, the Town Clerk, about it. We’ve heard through one of the town councillors, Brain Lucas.
Looking at the VTC Website, wouldn’t give you any clues of the change either – it’s still listed as 15th March on there – although we’re assured that it has been moved.
Update: We spoke to the Clerk and she didn’t give a reason why the meeting date had changed, just that the 15th must have been a mistake.
