If you rely upon the Ventnor Town Council (VTC) Website for details of when the VTC meetings are held, please be aware that the dates of meetings displayed is not accurate.
Last week’s meeting (11th January) was postponed due to the bad weather and is being held tonight instead.
We’ve been chasing a copy of the agenda from the Town Clerk for the last couple of weeks and have waited all day before writing this, but at time of publishing, we’ve still to receive the official details of what is due to be discussed tonight.
Audit report tonight?
What we do know, is that at the last meeting it was mentioned that the report from the audit investigation was due to be presented to the Town Council around now, so we expect that this item may be on the agenda at tonight’s meeting.
As usual the meeting starts at 7pm sharp in the main hall of the Winter Gardens. Assuming the agenda follows the usual format, there will be 15 minutes at the beginning of the meeting for public questions.
