This Sunday, 27th February, there will be a litter pick at the Skate Park Car Park on Ventnor Eastern Esplanade from 10am.

Recently these two Wombles have litter pickers the revetment between Wheelers Bay and Bonchurch collecting one full bin bag of rubbish and four glass bottles.
Picking further afield
The first car park area on Ventnor Downs, half a bin bag of rubbish and six glass bottles.
The car park at Windy Corner at the end of the Blackgang Road, Niton, was also tackled, where half a bin bag of rubbish and two glass bottles were recovered.
Litter can kill
First casualty of the year was a local dog, who while out walking along the revetment near Wheelers Bay cut his paw on some broken glass and had to have stitches. The Wombles send their best wishes for a speedy recovery.
