As you know, we’ve been trying to find ways of continuing to bring VentnorBlog to you, as it appears that one or two of you are quite keen on it – putting aside modesty for a moment, our stats tell us that we’re the number one news and events Web site on the Island.
By way of continuing to provide VB to you, we present – Sponsored Articles – a way for people and businesses to get their message out to the readers of VentnorBlog.
Given the number of readers our stats tell us we have, it’s a highly economical way of highlighting businesses etc to Islanders here and away, as well as to those who visit us.
We’re big believers in openness, so each article that we write that has been sponsored will be clearly marked – unlike many other publications who only write ‘articles’ in their publications about businesses that advertise with them, without declaring a connection.
Some people will complain, but we suspect that they’re not the people who have donated money to us. Frankly we’ve got to find a way for VB to pay (if you’ve got any other ideas, feel free to get in touch).
Don’t worry – all of the usual good ol’ VentnorBlog content will continue as well.
