Ventnor now has its own community TV collective … and the results are highly impressive.
It’s a project first envisaged by Louis Lawrence, who went on to gather a team of volunteers around him, Adrian Wellock; Andrew Wilks; Elizabeth Summers; Marcia Forsyth-Grant; Mike Furness; and Wendy Cooper.
Because of the decades of experience that many who are working with VentnorTV have, the videos are shot and edited really well, making the pieces not only pleasing to the eye, but also really engaging to watch.
The sharp end of the content production is primarily done by Mike Furness and Andrew Wilks, both of them having gained considerable experience during their professional working lives.
Mike Furness
Mike Furness, whose camera work you may have seen at the Minghella press conference, shows his skills in making entertainment programmes with his relaxed, informal style …
Find it on VentnorTV, including a higher quality version.
Andrew Wilks
Andrew Wilks did impressively fast work shooting and editing a video for the premier of new local film, Death in Ventnor (we’re ashamed to say that we still haven’t got our podcasts out yet – note to self), getting it out the same day.
Find it on VentnorTV, including a higher quality version.
Thanks Adrian!
A big thanks too to Adrian Wellock who is in-charge of VentnorTV on the Web side of things and helped us out embedding the VentnorTV videos on here.
Podcasts Ahoy
We’ve got podcasts with Louis Lawrence and Mike Furness coming out over the next couple of days, to give you further insight into VentnorTV.
