Peter May in stilettos with his supporters

Venues sought for Treadmill Roadshow – to raise money for domestic abuse charity

Peter May – the man who walked the Isle of Wight in stiletto heels in 2022 for charity – has announced plans for a Treadmill Roadshow for 2023.

Once again, he intends to raise awareness and funds for Wight DASH, a charity focused on helping victims and survivors of domestic abuse on the Isle of Wight.

Stiletto man on tour
Pete plans to visit popular venues, shops, bars, and attractions on the Island with a treadmill and heels, doing a sponsored challenge for three or four hours at each location. He hopes to visit as many towns and villages on the Island as possible throughout the year.

He’s also planning a 24 Treadmill in Heels challenge later in the summer, with details to be announced once a high footfall venue has been arranged.

Host Pete’s treadmill challenge
Venues interested in hosting Pete and the Treadmill Roadshow, shops, bars, attractions etc, are encouraged to get in touch with him via the Facebook Group, To Walk In Her Shoes.

Pete promises to promote your venue as much as possible in return.

First venue
The first sessions will be live on air and on treadmill on Friday 10th February with Kitty and Ron’s show between 10am-1pm on Vectis Radio. Tune in online or on FM 104.6.
