Co-founder of OnTheWight, Sally Perry, is flattered to have been nominated for the 2015 Isle of Wight Venus Awards.
Shortlisted in the Influential Woman of the Year category, Sally explained on film how OnTheWight’s ethos has always been to stick up for the underdog and give Islanders a voice.
Ten years later and the site has published over 25,000 articles later and in excess of 125,000 readers’ comments.
Sally’s video was submitted to the judges on Monday 30th November 2015. She’ll find out later in the week whether she has been further shortlisted by the Isle of Wight County Press, sponsors for the award.
