News just received from Southampton Docks. We’ve been informed by campaigners that the four protesters occupying cranes and the barge at Southampton Docks have been told they will be arrested under the Terrorism Act if they do not come down now.
The four occupiers, who are calling for the reinstatement of sacked Vestas workers and government intervention to protect wind-power jobs, have said they intend to stay to prevent Vestas wind-turbine blades from being loaded for export today.
