Yesterday, three Vestas workers, already taking part in the sit-in, took the rest of the Newport factory.
We spoke to Mike inside about it this morning, “We spent a good few hours chaining up all of the doors in the factory. We thought we’d done it and had it completely locked down.”
After two weeks of only washing in sinks they were pleased to have a shower in the changing rooms located inside the factory.
This morning they awoke to find that they had been locked in again to the management suite upstairs.
