There were good number of people at the Vestas sit-in rally last night (estimates were around two hundred) and having spoken to those inside at the sit-in, seeing so many people outside really gave them a boost.
A boost is something they need because last night we heard from them that Vestas threatened to not only sack them (thought that was happening anyway!), but to take away their redundancy pay, so they’ve been putting a lot on the line.

As you can see, it’s a jolly affair and the people there have told VB that they’d appreciate it if other Islanders can come along and show their support for this serious loss to the Island.
Tonight’s support rally is at 6pm.
