Top item on BBC South Today last night was a report by former Vestas worker, Penny Draper.
She’d been to Vestas’ new blade-making facility in Colorado, USA to chat to the people there and try to work out why wind power is so much more developed on the other side of the Atlantic.
If you want to watch you’ll have to be quick – the video is only up until about 6pm tonight.
There’s also a well-put-together half-hour radio programme, which expands on the theme and is well worth listening to.
Penny and links to other content related to the story also make the top story on the BBC Hampshire & Isle of Wight Web page today.
