At the start of last week was the first time that I’d travelled on the FastCat for a quite a while, so I hadn’t seen the video before about Ventnor that is running during the crossings.
I didn’t see the whole thing, but saw that it features the Blake’s fishing boat and fisheries; The Met (I realised that it was the first time I’d seen the inside of it); and the Royal Hotel.
It’s shot in bright skies and shows the wonderful beauty of Ventnor, making it look truly excellent and a town worth visiting.
Those involved with this have done a great thing for Ventnor, portraying a very positive view of the town and some of the businesses that operate here.
The focus isn’t just on the businesses, but showing the ample beauty that is contained within and around Ventnor.
Hats off to those who paid for it. Thanks to the wonders of YouTube, you don’t need to catch the FastCat to see the film. Here it is.
UPDATE: We’ve now learnt that those featured on the video paid for it at “quite an expense.”
