Shanklin residents have been subject to roadworks and road closures for several months now, so the appearance of yet another void won’t be welcome.
It means yet another road closure. This time, St Johns Road, which is closed until approx. 3.30pm on Thursday 19 June 2014 between Victoria Avenue and Hatherton Road.
Island Roads engineers will be carrying out an investigation works to find the cause of a void in the highway.
The diversion route is along Victoria Avenue, High Street and Orchardleigh Road.
