The start of the month saw the first hop crops being picked at Ventnor Botanic Garden.
Members of the Friends of the Botanic Garden and others from the Green Gym were kept busy through the day picking hops in readiness of the forthcoming HopFest.
The event takes place at the Botanic Gardens near the end of September and will feature a new beer from Goddards Brewery made with the hops grown here on the Isle of Wight.
