Underwater footage of seagrass meadows by Theo Vickers

Watch: Underwater footage of Seagrass in the Bembridge Marine Conservation Zone

If you watched David Attenborough’s Green Plant last night, you would have been in awe at the amazing underwater footage.

Marine biology graduate, Theo Vickers, who also doubles up as an Isle of Wight photographer and fossil hunter, has shared beautiful footage for News OnTheWight readers to see.

He told us,

“It’s been a pretty fantastic week for some winter underwater photography around the Island.

“This footage of the seagrass beds was filmed at Bembridge Marine Conservation Zone in very clear and calm conditions earlier in the week.”

It’s fantastic to see how clear the water is. Thanks Theo for sharing.
