The New Carnival Company are proud to announce that they are hosting a public book launch with author Davis Deen (aka Coco P).
His new release ‘Tales of Survival – Caribbean stories and poems’ consists of 12 short stories and poems, drawn from his own Trinidadian heritage.
As Coco P, Davis is well known on the Island as entertainer, talented poet and master of ceremonies at various local carnival events.
Where and when
The book launch will take place at Aspire (formerly known as Trinity Church), Dover Street in Ryde on Wednesday 15 October.
There will be traditional songs and drumming, a chance to meet Davis Deen and he will give live readings.
This event is FREE and will kick off at 7.30pm, please pop along, what a lovely event to pop down to midway through the week!
