Music artists montaged into group

Wet Leg announced as one of Vevo’s DSCVR 2022 Artists To Watch

There is yet more exciting news for Isle of Wight band, Wet Leg, as the world’s largest all-premium music video provider, Vevo, have chosen them for their DSCVR 2022 Artists To Watch list.

This is a real coup for the Island band, which is fronted by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, as it’ll expose them to Vevo’s vast distribution network as well as marketing and promotion efforts. The news was announced on Vevo’s social media on Monday.

Phenomenal rise
With just two singles released to the world, and after a summer of playing festivals, the band performed their headline show to a packed audience in London last week.

They appeared on ‘Later with Jools’ last weekend on BBC2 (watch below), are playing at Pitchfork Festival in Paris later this month.

With a mini US tour planned for next month (December), the band will be playing New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. A UK tour for Spring 2022 has also been announced.

Lots more to come
Having seen the band play live this summer at Strings in Newport, we can assure fans that there are plenty of great tracks to follow in the footsteps of the highly acclaimed Chaise Longue and Wet Dream.
