Wet Leg reveal third track from upcoming album, moisturizer: Watch the video

Isle of Wight band Wet Leg have shared the third single from their upcoming second album, Moisturizer, which is set for release on 11th July 2025.

The new song, Davina McCall, is a soft, heartfelt ballad that blends an unusual mix of references – Big Brother and Shakira – with an unexpected sincerity.

Described as a song about “pure, unadulterated devotion,” it signals a shift in tone for the band, who are known for their playful, tongue-in-cheek approach.

Stop-motion goblin quest
The accompanying video, directed by Chris Hopewell, features charming stop-motion animation. In it, the band appear as clay figures on a surreal adventure to recover a stolen feather from a goblin.

The video includes nods to Wet Leg’s earlier work, referencing the CPR video and the band’s recent family portrait (see below).

Collaborative songwriting approach
Davina McCall also reflects a new way of working together. Hester Chambers began the song alongside Ellis Durand, while Rhian Teasdale developed the lyrics and melody.

Hester said,

“Ellis and I were on the edge of our seats being like, ‘We’re gonna get this, we’re completing the puzzle.’”

Live shows and global listening parties
In addition to their previously announced outstore shows, Wet Leg have now confirmed a performance at London’s Electric Ballroom.

Over 180 listening parties are planned across the globe in the run-up to the album release.

The band are set to perform at Glastonbury Festival this weekend (3.45pm on Friday 27th).

Earlier this month, they performed CPR and Catch these fists on Later with Jools Holland.
