Isle of Wight band Wet Leg, who shot to fame last year after releasing their incredibly catchy tune, Chaise Longue, have had one of their singles remixed by the Belgium electronic band, Soulwax.
Wet Leg’s third single, Too Late Now, has had the legendary Soulwax treatment, securing its place in nightclubs around the World.
There will be a limited physical 12-inch vinyl release of the “Too Late Now” remix via Soulwax’s label Deewee on 22nd July. You can pre-order via the Website.
Around the World
Talking about ‘around the World’, the gig schedule for the band over the next nine months is insane (see below).
Particularly given the band have been touring on and off pretty much for the last year. We know they have a lot of fun on tour, but let’s hope they manage to get some rest in between travelling.
Glorious Glastonbury
As mentioned by News OnTheWight last week, the band’s appearance at Glastonbury on The Park Stage went down a storm, surely securing them a Main Stage slot for 2023.
The band’s track Wet Dream was singled out by the BBC as a Must Watch Track. Watch the entire Wet Leg set on BBC iPlayer (available for another 24 days).
