Where to leave Isle of Wight floral tributes to the late Queen Elizabeth II

Following the death on Thursday of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, the local authority recognises that many Islanders will be wanting leave floral tributes.

A spokesperson from Isle of Wight council told News OnTheWight,

“Today our thoughts continue to be with the Royal Family at this very sad time.

“We respectfully ask that anyone wishing to lay flowers in tribute, should do so at Church Litten, Newport.

“Signs are in place to advise where floral tributes may be placed.”

Remove cellophane
Residents are asked to not place any flowers wrapped in cellophane.

Bins have been provided where residents can leave the unwanted plastic wrapping.
