Yes folks, tonight is the night.
The Wight Trash Transitions CD launch party comes to the Ventnor Winter Gardens and what a brilliant night they’ve got in store for you.
Kicking off at 7.30pm and entrance just a mere £2.50 – but they’ll need to fill the hall in order to make enough cash to cover the hire costs and security – so make sure you ring around everyone you know and get them out tonight.
What do you get in return? Five Island bands (including two Bestival Band competition winners) will be playing alongside three great DJs.
There’ll be a chance to win some great musical memorabilia (including a donation from Rob Da Bank) in the grand raffle and make sure you bring an extra tenner so you can purchase the CD.
It’s a great compilation with 22 tracks from Island musicians and is stonking value at less than 50p per track.
The CD was made possible through donations from Wight Trash, VentnorBlog, The Bees and Cllr Val Taylor. All proceeds will go directly back into hiring equipment and paying for materials as part of the renovation of the skate park.
