After you’ve been up to East Cowes on Saturday to take part in the Big Draw, why not head over to Sandown for an introductory storytelling workshop as part of the Wight Words festival?
The art of storytelling is one that can come in handy in many situations. The obvious distracting tired nippers springs to mind, but it could also be utilised to get a point across to work colleagues. It’ll also add great kudos when sitting round a fire with friends swapping tales and anecdotes.
Through the workshop, storytelling extraordinaire, Sue Bailey aims to give you a bit more confidence to have a go in just such situations. There will be hints on how to remember stories, a chance to hear several tales and the opportunity to have a go yourself in a non threatening supportive atmosphere.
