Weed in the surf at Shanklin Beach on the night made fishing trying.
Despite the conditions, Wightfishing competitors did find fish with Davey Bennett weighing in a Pollack of 1lb to win heaviest bag and best specimen.
We look forward to the next competition which will be the Christmas Mince Pie Event on Wednesday 29th December at Fort Victoria.
