Wightlink announce new CEO

Keith Greenfield has been appointed CEO of Wightlink Ferries and will take up the post on 6 June 2016.

A chartered engineer with a background in transport and telecoms, until recently Keith was Managing Director of Heathrow Express. Keith brings to Wightlink a strong track record in customer service and safety management.

John Burrows, who has been acting as interim CEO, will revert to the role of Chief Operating Officer, including leading the company’s £45m project to improve its services on its flagship Fishbourne to Portsmouth Gunwharf route.

Commenting on his appointment, Keith Greenfield says:

“As a keen yachtsman and a regular visitor to the Isle of Wight, I’m delighted to be joining Wightlink. This is an exciting point in the company’s development and I’m looking forward to working with our staff to build a great future for Wightlink Ferries, our customers and the Isle of Wight.”
