Wightlink awarded Silver in British Travel Awards for Best Ferry Company to/from UK ports

Thanks to votes from thousands of happy customers, Wightlink has been awarded Silver in the British Travel Awards 2021/22 in the category Best Ferry Company to/from UK ports. The accreditation was presented at a ceremony in London.

Wightlink Chief Executive Keith Greenfield says,

“We want to thank everyone who voted for us and are delighted to win this prestigious award.

“We are proud to support the Isle of Wight’s many businesses that rely on tourism by carrying their customers across the Solent on our modern fleet of ships, including England’s first vehicle ferry powered by hybrid energy – Victoria of Wight.” 

Gold winner
The Gold award went to Brittany Ferries which connects the UK with ports in France and Spain from Portsmouth and Plymouth.

Danish ferry company DFDS won Bronze.

British Travel Awards
The British Travel Awards is the biggest UK awards organisation that invites votes from customers.

More than 300,000 people cast over 618,000 votes across all of the categories.
