Printers and phones being donated to the Aspire charity

Wightlink’s commitment to reuse and recycle benefits Isle of Wight charities

Wightlink has handed over printers and phones to several Isle of Wight charities following an upgrade of office equipment around the company.

The items are in excellent condition and have been welcomed by the good causes.

Head of Island Ports, Martin Gulliver and Corina Warren, one of Wightlink’s stores team, handed over the supplies to Island charity Aspire which will distribute the equipment.

Wightlink Commercial Director, Phil Delaney, explains,

“Our environmental policy is to reuse and recycle whenever possible, so we were pleased to find new homes for some printers and phones that were surplus to our requirements.”

The charities that will benefit include Aspire Ryde, Pan Together, Baby Box in Ventnor and Ventnor Community Pantry.

Trevor Nicholas from Aspire Ryde says,

“We are very grateful to Wightlink for the provision of this equipment which will enable us and other Island charities to support our communities.”
