This Saturday sees the Sierra Leone Charity Ball kick off the festive season. It’s time to dust down your cocktail dresses and shine up your stilettos.
Times are hard for all of us at the moment, but when things become tough at home it’s always worth remembering that we’re relatively well-off compared to third world countries.
The Ball, which promises a complimentary drink on arrival, buffet and an evening of live music from one of the greatest bands on the Island, aims to raise money for a small village called Moeba, in Sierra Leone, one of the poorest countries in the world.
