Winter Gardens Prize Draw Winners Announced

At last night’s Ventnor Town Council Meeting, Cllr Gillian Jenner shared the initial results of the recent consultation on the future of the Winter Gardens.

Cllr Jenner explained that 2,000 feedback forms had been printed and distributed to just about every venue you can think of in Ventnor, pubs, cafes, library, shops etc.

Quality responses
Although they’d only received 80 forms back, Cllr Jenner went onto say that those returned were very detailed and represented a good cross section of Islanders.

Some were from people who use the facilities daily, others only once a month and some who never visit the Winter Gardens.

Extension to consultation
It was agreed by all VTC councillors to extend the consultation for one more week (until 18th), so if you haven’t had a chance to take part, make a visit to Ventnor and share your views on what should happen to the Winter Gardens.

Full results of the feedback would be presented at the next Ventnor Town Council meeting (8 November).

Prize Draw Winners Announced
All those who completed feedback forms were entered into a Prize Draw.

The winners were pulled out of the box just before last night’s meeting. Congratulations to you all.

Second Prize: Bottle of Joseph Perrier Champagne donated by Hillside – Philip and Janneke Oxley
