Now the summer is over and autumn in full swing, many of us will be battening down the hatches, getting prepared for life in the winter.
Often we find that we have more spare time in the autumn/winter evenings, so what better way to spend your time than putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and creating your own writing masterpiece.
The Wight Fair Writers Circle have just launched their winter writing competition, with the theme of ‘Tis The Season To be Jolly, providing a great excuse to flex those creative juices.
There are three age categories, with lots of great prizes on offer.
All proceeds will go to The Ellen Macarthur Trust and The Sandown Bay Diabetic Support Group and the closing date is 20th November 2011.
