Witness Appeal After Fight Reported In Cowes

Police TapePolice are appealing for witnesses after reports of a fight in Cowes on the Isle of Wight.

Officers were called to the town’s marina shortly before 10.15pm on Thursday, August 11, 2011.

A 22-year-old man from the Isle of Wight received facial injuries that were not life threatening.

A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and bailed until November 2, 2011 pending further enquiries.

Police are appealing for witnesses who saw a fight outside the entrance to the Mahiki bar in the marina at Cowes at around 10pm on Thursday, August 11, 2011.
