A day long Festival of Folk and Blues set in the stunning grounds of Wolverton Manor, Shorwell, Isle of Wight PO30 3JS on Saturday 9th May 2026, from 11.30am to 8pm.
Now in its 14th year
From the successful launch in 2011, and now in its 14th year, the family friendly festival raises funds to support Teenage and young adult Cancer care plus local school, Brighstone Primary.
Wolverton Folk and Blues has become a firm fixture on the Island’s event calendar, with fantastic bands/artists each year along with locally produced food, tea tent and not forgetting the Real Ale tent!
This year’s headline acts
Special guest artists at Wolverton Folk and Blues this year include….
- Award-winning UK bluesman Errol Linton and his band.
- UK’s finest Bluegrass and Folk stars The Thumping Tommys
- USA Delta-Blues supremo Ray Cashman and Lucy Piper

Beer Tent Acoustic Stage returns
As well as the Main Stage, the popular ‘Beer Tent Acoustic Stage’ will make a welcome return providing a full and varied programme, featuring some of the best Folk and Blues musicians the Isle of Wight has to offer.

Other Bands/Artists confirmed for Wolverton 2026 include The Gilkicker Weevils, Second Time Around, Milo, Doug Alldred & The Silver Lining, The Bohemians, Feck! The King Bees, Brighstone Barnacles, The Purple Emperors, Berlingo Flick, The Hollow Creek Band, F9 Uking The Blues, Our Annie-R and Moonshine Border Morris.

Food, ale and Morris dancing
With an IW real ale beer tent, Tea Tent, craft stalls and Morris Dancing, The Wolverton Folk & Blues Fair is set to be a great opportunity to enjoy top live music and great festival food, set against the backdrop of the beautiful West Wight scenery.
In aid of Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Care and Brighstone School. Supported by Red Funnel Ferries.
