At the end of next week something quite different will be taking place at the Winter Gardens in Ventnor.
The Wonderyears Choir, backed by the Wonderyears Band, is made up of senior citizens who belt out classic rock numbers as well as more poignant recent ballads from groups such as Coldplay.
The choir gave their first public performance in May last year to a sell-out audience, resulting in a standing ovation at the end of the performance.
They’ve gone from strength to strength since then and are very much in demand, so we’re pretty lucky to have them perform for us here in Ventnor.
We understand that £3 from every ticket is being donated to the Earl Mountbatten Hospice, so you can enjoy a great night out knowing that some of the proceeds are also going to the Hospice.
Tickets are just £8 for adults or £6 for kids.
