Readers may remember our report from the recent Licensing Committee when an application from WowFest was heard.
Strict conditions were attached the approval of the application under the Isle of Wight Act that insisted that payment be made by 31st May to cover in relation to costs for; Police; Fire and Rescue service; Environmental Health department; Highways department; Building Control Department; as well as a bond to ensure all conditions are met.
An IW Council spokesman told VB this morning, “We can confirm no payment has been received and we will be considering the implications of this.”
