If you’re unhappy with the budget cuts agreed by the Isle of Wight council last night, then you might be interested in putting a question or two to Island Chief Executive, Steve Beynon.
News reaches us today that Mr Beynon will be taking calls on Jon Cuthill’s (pictured) radio programme on BBC Radio Solent this coming Monday.
We’re told that the phone-in marks the launch of a BBC-wide project on council finances, called ‘Facing the Cuts’.
It won’t be specifically focused on the Island but hearing from those affected by cuts in Hampshire and Dorset as well.
Callers to the programme will be asked how are the cuts will affect them and where they would cut the budget.
Calls will be taken between 10am – 11am on Monday 1st March.
Listeners in the South of Wight should listen online if unable to reach through 96.1 or 103.8fm
