Reunion of previous members
Previous members of the 5th Ryde Group are invited to come along for a reunion.

We are especially keen to meet and renew acquaintances will all former Queen’s Scouts, those who achieved the highest award in the movement.

The group is celebrating its 85th Birthday this year bringing Scouting to Ryde since 1931.

Youth movement headed by Bear Grylls
The event will have representatives from all of Ryde’s Scout Groups. The Scouts the largest youth movement in the world is headed in the UK By Chief Scout Bear Grylls.

It encourages both boys and girls to develop life skills in fun and exciting ways.

Young people and parents are invited to come along and see what we do. It’s not all knots and wogggles. With over 200 activities on offer to members modern Scouting is a true adventure.

Cubs 100
The Cub section of the movement is celebrating 100 years this year and we would like to find 100 former Cubs or Wolf Cubs to hear their stories.
