“You’re A Hero Daley B” was Gruffalo illustrator Axel Scheffler’s first picture book, selling over 100,000 first time round.
Now a new edition of the book has been published, and author Jon Blake, whose dad once ran a fridge shop in Ryde and some of you may have met when he launched his book about the 1969 Isle of Wight Festival last year, is touring the UK with a fantastic puppet of Daley B, the rabbit who just doesn’t understand what he is, or why his feet are so big!
Newport Waterstones will be his very first stop, so if you and your kids are free between 2 and 4pm a week on Saturday (26th May), drop in and find out just why this character is so popular!
