“Teacher’s taking us to the zoo tomorrow, zoo tomorrow, zoo tomorrow” is probably what pupils at Broadlea Primary School in Sandown will be singing this morning in anticipation of a visit to the zoo tomorrow.
The excited youngsters will be testing out the ‘new Zoo at Home’ section of Isle of Wight Zoo at an official launch tomorrow morning.
Zoo at Home is a new attraction at the zoo which has been created in conjunction with superstore Pets at Home.
It provides the opportunity for visitors to the zoo to handle a range of animals and reptiles, whilst learning how to look after them properly.
Zoo at Home competition
To help launch Zoo at Home the Zoo are running an Islandwide competition to find the face of Zoo at Home.
Is your pet the face of Zoo at home? If so then all you have to do is send in a photo of your pet and no more than 50 words saying why you should win to [email protected].
The winning entry will be drawn on 30th June 2010.
The lucky winner will receive a years supply of pet products worth £150 courtesy of Pets at Home, a year membership to Isle of Wight Zoo and the exclusive opportunity to spend a day at the Zoo helping feed the animals and looking after the their new friends at Zoo@Home!
