Find out more about space weather, nano research or particle physics at Cafe Scientifique talks

Cafe Scientifique talks return to the Isle of Wight later this month.

See Events OntheWight for details of the new season of talks.

Subjects range from “Earth’s Aurora and Space Weather” and hearing more about its effects on the many satellites now orbiting the Earth to Nano research and how Nano devices can help detect diseases.

Later in the month there’ll be a talk on the unique properties of water and the seasons finished with the fascinating subject of particle physics.

Where and when
Talks take place at the Shanklin Conservative Club and start at 7pm sharp.

Following the interval (during which you can buy drinks from the bar) there is a Q&A session. A donation of £3 on the door is requested to help cover costs.
