A man and his family were driving down High Street just after midnight on February 7 when two men punched the side of their car.

Assaulted and abused
The driver stopped the car outside of Hursts and confronted the two men who punched him, causing him to fall over.

They then used racially abusive language, leaving the victim and his family distressed.

The victim suffered a cut to his head.

Both men are described as wearing black jackets, white tops and had short dark hair. One was wearing red trousers and the other light coloured jeans.
