‘Wight Dragon’, Coppins Bridge Photographed At Night

Yesterday afternoon we covered the unveiling of the ‘Wight Dragon’ on Coppins Bridge, Newport.

'Wight Dragon', Coppins Bridge Photographed At NightFrom the photos that we’ve seen of it looks pretty sensational, so hats off to the pupils from the Clatterford Tuition Centre, Newport who made it.

It’s perched on top of a lamp post, with its hands grasping the ball at the top and the tail wrapped around the supporting post.

Auntie P, Island photographer and founder of the popular Isle of Wight Flickr Group took some photos of it during the day, then ventured out after dark to capture its nightly charms.
