Following the success of the Wight Trash Transitions CD launched last August, music (and skating) fans will be pleased to hear that Volume #2 is well underway.
Volume #1 of Wight Trash Transitions went a long way towards paying for the the concrete, drainage and other bits and pieces at Ventnor Skatepark.
But there’s still more work to do and it’s hoped that sales from Volume #2 will go towards the 40ft concrete grind wall, the see-through hard plastic wind and seaspray screen and to resurfacing the ramp with Skatelite. According to those in the know, Skatelite is a faster and stronger surface than wood therefore avoiding the need for the ramps to be replaced in the future.
Volume #2 features more Island bands and will be a double triple CD – but still at the excellent price of just £10 (so no excuse for copying CDs for your mates).
The confirmed line up for Transitions Volume #2 includes …
Mark King (Level 42)
Jet Harris (The Shadows)
Jackson Analogue (pictured amongst the daffodils)
