The protest against the loss of 100s jobs at the Vestas blade plant in Newport continues with another day of action being called for next Thursday.
Many of the ex-workers have been travelling around the country meeting unions and giving speeches and spreading the word.
Support is continuing to grow on the mainland and this will become more evident next week as the Day of Action takes place.
Go Green for National Day of Action
This time organisers of the protest are urging supporters to go green for the day.
It’s suggested that you wear green for the day and do things such as changing the background of your emails to green.
When people ask you why you’re wearing green, tell them you’re supporting the workers are fighting for green jobs on the Isle of Wight.
Fancy Dress at Chicago Rock
In the evening, campaigners and supporters will be meeting at Chicago Rock in Newport.
All are invited and we understand that there’ll be prizes for the ‘best green fancy dress’ including a Playstation 3!
