Changes to Kerbside Rubbish Collections Afoot

If you followed the live coverage of the Scrutiny Committee last month when the proposed budget was discussed, you’ll have picked up the news that there are changes afoot for kerbside rubbish collection.

Changes to Kerbside Collections AfootWe were oblivious to the fact that some people have their rubbish collected from their ‘back doors’, thinking that everyone did as we’ve been doing for years and putting our bags of rubbish out on the street on the morning of collection.

All change next month
From 12 April 2010 where you rubbish is collected from will change and the Isle of Wight Council have produced some handy diagrams to illustrate how.

If you normally get your rubbish bags collected from your property, check the council Website to find out about the imminent changes.

Here’s a few pointers ….
