Not a surprise to be hearing this today – Prime Minster, Gordon Brown, has asked The Queen to dissolve Parliament next Monday, setting the election day for 6th May.

Way back in 2007 we did a warm-up with the Ventnor West election where VB readers posed questions and we took a selection of those to the candidates, videoing their responses and broadcast them online.
It was a way for us to try and help you understand what the candidates were all about.
