Really interesting to see John Gallimore on the front page of the County Press today.
His name and face jumped out at us immediately.
He was one of the leading activists for ThWart (The Wight Against Rural Turbines).
Remember ThWart?
They’re the group who have consistently campaigned against wind turbines on the Isle of Wight – instrumental in having the Cheverton Down planning permission rejected.
Well, it appears that John Gallimore is the commercial director of Real Ventures Limited, the company behind the proposed biomass plant at Stag Lane.
Two years they’ve been working on the company the article says. Maybe we missed it, but we don’t recall him ever mentioning that in his frequent interviews with the Island media before.
