Vincent Moon: Why You Should See His Films At Ventnor Fringe (Podcast)

We’ve done two interviews with French film-maker Vincent Moon in the Ventnor shop that has been converted in to The Picture House, an impromptu cinema for Ventnor Fringe Festival.

Vincent Moon: Why You Should See His Films At Ventnor Fringe (Podcast)The first chat was a pretty in-depth discussion about his work and how he has come to be making the 356 films that he has. It ended abruptly, broken by an important, and as it turned out, significant call for him.

A brief recording
A little while later we recorded something much more brief, that we’d intended to use as an end to the initial recording. Listening to it again, it works as a great summary of the longer discussion so we’ll put it out by itself.

It includes great quotes such as “What I do is very simple;” “It pushed people, inspired people. Basically it’s making a film to make other films;” and “Creation is an every day process.”

Don’t miss this
Here’s the summary – if you’re able you should definitely go along to The Picture House, part of the Ventnor Fringe Festival in the next few days. If you can, get to see some of Vincent’s films. [audio:http://otw-audio.s3.amazonaws.com/vincent-moon-ventnor-fringe-festival-quick-summary.mp3]
