Well done to Isle of Wight DJ Maxx Traxx for getting a mix of his selected to be played on Bestimix – a selection of mixes by some very big names in the DJing game. From memory, we think this is the first time an Island DJ has featured there.
Tom Eklund as he’s known In Real Life, kicks off the mix with Island favorite by Derek Sandy, “Welcome to the Isle of Wight,” moving on to take a journey to quite a different musical zone.
Maxx Traxx won this year’s Bestival DJ competition – which he also opened with Mr Sandy’s tune.
