Some welcome news for many on the Isle of Wight, as word reaches us that the Island will once again have a fully operational airfield.
We’re told that Britten Norman (BN) in Bembridge have just secured a deal to run Sandown Airport.
This will be welcome news after the closure of Bembridge Airport at the beginning of the year.
We’ve been in touch with BN and they hope to provide more info next week.
