Quay Arts Director, Jo Cowan, is going to be doing her bit this weekend to help fundraise for the arts centre.
On Sunday, Jo will be running the Paris Marathon. Yes, running the Paris Marathon!
Until the Arts Council funding cut, she was doing it just for fun(!) but has now decided to put it to good use and fundraise for Quay Arts.
She’s already raised £335, but would obviously like to boost that substantially.
Jo says, “Any donation, no matter how small, will be appreciated, there will be other things that we will ask of you over the coming year – but this is the first so please support arts on the Isle of Wight.”
Making a donation through CharityGiving is simple and apparently doesn’t cost as much as other major fundraising pages, so more money will go to the Quay.
